BY STAFF REPORTER

FITEEN people publicly dedicated their lives to Jehovah God through baptism in water yesterday (Saturday) during the second day of a Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witness that was attended more than 800 delegates at Checheche in Chipinge.

According to a dedication talk that was titled “Jehovah’s Patience Is Our Salvation” and was given for the new devotees, one qualifies for baptism with Jehovah’s Witnesses after studying a free Bible course.

Regional Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses returned to Checheche on 18 August 2023 after a three-year pause owing to the global pandemic of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID 19).

This year’s global three-day conventions are themed “Exercise Patience!” Some 6,000 conventions will be held worldwide as part of the 2023 “Exercise Patience!” convention series. In the Zimbabwe alone, more than 60 conventions are expected to be held in many host cities.
