A music gala that will feature artist(e)s from Chipinge South is set to take place next month. Named “Checheche Music Gala,” the event is expected to be held every month once it kicks off.
The coordinator of the event, sungura musician, Stanley “Same Mafia” Zamazama, told this reporter that extravaganza shall be free of charge.
“We are organising the gala to take place early May this year and expect to hold more galas every month. Many artistes from Chipinge South have shown interest to perform at the gala. The whole idea of our event is to showcase Checheche talent to the world, so we will not entrance fee.
“As we speak, we are reaching out to prospective sponsors so that we can be able to cover costs such as administration, venue, PA System, transport, food, instruments and other. Any well-wisher is free to contact me on +263 784 993 209,” he said.
