Chipinge and Chimanimani revel in SMEs awards

CHIPINGE and Chimanimani Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are revelling in the awards which they won at a provincial Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) expo that was organised by Mutare Chamber of SMEs and took place at Mutare Show Ground on December 2, 2022.

The exposition was graced the Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Dr Sithembiso Nyoni and the Permanent Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Manicaland, Edgars Seenza.
Chipinge Chamber of SMEs scooped a prestigious Chamber of the Year award as MacJohnson Apiaries was crowned the best exhibitor.

Speaking to this publication after the event, the Secretary General of Chipinge Chamber of SMEs said that the award won by his chamber is an indicator that Chipinge businesses can reach greater height if they keep up the standards.

“I am very humbled by Chipinge’s performance. Our businesses should remain focused. As a chamber we need to work on the issue of SMEs workspace, marketing and SMEs funding. We are looking for the much needed support from our two local authorities, Chipinge Rural district Council and Chipinge Town Council and the District Development Coordinator’s office. With them on our side, Vision 2030 will not be just a dream,” he said.

Winners from Chipinge are Mbulache Farm, Shalet Mutasa MPS Masanzu Pvt Ltd, Furniture Gallery (Dronville Enterprises), DePlaza Lodge (Winnie Chinheya), Bambo Iddies Investment, Chripotie Investment, Gates of Destiny, Chipinge Farm Processes, Budiriro Solar Dried Vegetables, Jopa Investments, Chimani Delights and MacJohnson Apiaries.
Chimanimani saw Cute worm Investment, Luxway Investment, Chimanimani Woodworks, Notewell Investments, Edview, Market First Investments, Chimani Delights, Chimanimani Arms, and Glorimost Arms winning accolades.
