Delight as Senegal sinks World Cup hosts
The African continent was sent into frenzy following Senegal’s 3-1 win over hosts Qatar in a Group A match played on November 25, 2022.
Senegal took the lead through Boulaye Dia owing to poor defense ouncing on an the Qatar’s defence. The Africans’ second goal came through a header by Famara Diedhiou, in the second half and Bamba Dieng finalised the score sheet.
Mohammed Muntari gave a consolation goal for Qatar.
Senegal now sits on position 3 with 3 points in Group A.
