CHIPINGE is moving with time as far as environmental friendliness is concerned. The growing farming town is now cashing of recyclable waste.
An initiative named Chipinge Green Solution Company is now buying recyclable waste from residents.
Speaking to Business Wave Africa.com, the Director of Chipinge Green Solution Company, Freeman Mujaji Chinyama, said that women and the youth should capitalise on this project.
A lot of youth are crying of failure to make ends meet. They should give a try to our project so that they can earn some money from waste collection. Also, women should embrace the empowerment which this project gives them, he said.
Mr Chinyama further indicated that they are buying recyclable waste at a reasonable price.
We are buying the waste at US$0.20 per kg. Our waste transfer station is still under construction in the heavy industrial site. Our company was registered through the Ministry of Woman Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprise Development, added.
