Herentals stretches to the guitars

LEADING private education provider, Herentals Group of Colleges and Schools is stretching its hand to support arts talents, this publication can reveal.

The new development was revealed by the School Head of Herentals Chipinge College, Ms Tinashe Muneta, during her interview by Simbarashe Zhovha on Chimanimani FM on December 25, 2022.

“We have come to Chimanimani to support Calvin Mtukudzi who is holding a family show at Chimanimani Arts Festival Trust Centre. Herentals has been known for offering scholarships to its students who excel at Ordinary and Advanced Level.

“We are also known for supporting sport that is why we have two teams; Herentals FC and Herentals Queens FC in top flight soccer leagues.

“We are glad to announce that in our new endeavours, we are identifying various talents across the country. We are establishing academies wherever our colleges or schools exist. We are saying, our students who excel in any talent shall be offered a chance to go further with their talent,” she said.

Herentals was one of the organisations that powered Calvin Mtukudzi’s Christmas Family Show in Chimanimani. The talented king of afro jazz, Tuku was full of vibe and gave revelers quality for their money.
