OCTOBER is Breast Cancer month. It is encouraging to note that many organisations are giving support in form of awareness and charity.
Manicaland Rugby Board is raising breast cancer awareness through sport.
Tomorrow (14 October), the board has lined up a tournament that is aimed at giving awareness to breast cancer as well as campaigning against drug and harmful substance abuse.
The campaign that will be held at Nyautsunzi Grounds in Sakubva, Mutare shall see the following men’s teams participate: the hosts Spartans, Eastern Giants, Rockstars, Talons, Nyazura Rugby Club, Bateleurs, MSUAS (Manicaland State University of Applied Science).
Two women’s teams; Eastern Giants and Spartans shall take part.
Tag rugby for kids in primary school shall also be there.
