Music is my calling

A Mutare based artiste, Panashe E. Chimugoro claims that to him, music is a calling.

Speaking to Business Wave Africa, Panashe said that he is so passionate about arts.

“I started music at school as part of the school choir and from there music stayed in me. I was born in Mutare, Zimbabwe and that is where I’m currently based in.

“My stage name is Golden Faddah. I sing in Shona and English and I have my own band called the GSB which stands for Golden State Band. I gave it that name because this band is the home of music and we produce golden stuff.

“I specialise in Afro Dancehall and Afro pop genres. I have about 11 tracks and I play drums. I feel like that all my songs are hits but two of them, Dzoka and Kuchukucha are the most known.

“I work with Honeymoon Records and Golden State Records. Therefore, I have four producers; Counage, Benaya, Skilzie and G Bunny. I have my musical videos on all social platforms you simply type in GOLDEN FADDAH.

“Currently, I am working on an album titled My queen which comprises of songs such as My queen, I’m sorry, Tinodanana, Wakatorwa, Depression. This project shall be released on the 17Th of February 2023,” he said.

On his vision, Panashe said that he wants to change music worldwide.

“I want to change music to a better thing to do and want to teach people the meaning of music more. I just want everyone to follow me on all social platforms I go by the name Golden Faddah.
