Polio vaccination second phase begins today

THE second phase of polio vaccination campaign in Zimbabwe begins today. The campaign is expected to end on December 4 this year with the aim of vaccinating all the children under the age of five years.
In the first round of the vaccination campaign which took place from 27 to 30 October this year, the District Health Promotions Officer for Chipinge, Ms Exgratia Chidoko, revealed that Chipinge managed to vaccinate 89 percent of the children.
She therefore encouraged all community members to be responsible by marketing the second round of the vaccination program so that the country can achieve it’s 100 percent target.
