MBEURE is located in Mutema-Musikavanhu constituency approximately 35km from Checheche Growth Point and 52km from Tanganda Halt using the Ngundu-Tanganda Highway.

For many years, dry as it is, nothing apart from drought induced hardships seemed to headline the area.

Now, Mbeure has started to be on the lips of many people. It boasts of two private educational institutions. These are Prince Milton Junior and Prince Milton Academy.

The junior school has an enrolment of 60 learners with a staff compliment of 6 teachers. The academy has an enrolment of 52 learners with a staff compliment of 7 teachers.

According to the director of the two learning institutions, Farai Myambo, their institution is serving a needy community.

“We opened doors on 10 April 2023 to cater for the need of secondary school students who were walking for long distance in order to get to the nearest school. If one checks well, from Dumisayi area to Mbeure there was no secondary school. Learners had to travel long distances either to Mwacheta or to Rimbi.

“We also wanted to address the issue of early marriages. Some girls did not like to walk these long distances and would resort to marriage than schooling. Our academy is now open, we encourage the young girls to enrol in school than opting for marriage,” he said.
