CHIPINGE based Tongogara United FC which went beserk on October 22, 2023 and massacred Chimanimani Bullets FC 4-0 during a match that was played at Tongogara Refugee Camp in Chipinge is tipped to enter into Division 1.
The team is playing in the Chipinge-Chimanimani Division 2 league.
During the Sunday encounter, Chimanimani Bullets FC had to brave the Lowveld heat experience at Tongogara. The hosts had home advantage as supporters from the refugee camp and host communities came in their numbers regardless of age, gender and disability status.
By end of first half, Chimanimani Bullets had been hammered 2-0.
In the second half, Tongogara FC increased its prowess and scored an additional 2 goals. Finally, the visitors were left nursing wounds after the 4-0 defeat.
Tongogara United FC is tipped to win the league and possiblly gain promotion into Division 1 league.
