THE Zimbabwe Assemblies Of God Africa (ZAOGA) church which has been deemed the fastest growing pentacostal church worlf over, will be celebrating its 63rd anniversary this weekend.

ZAOGA found its existence on 12 May 1960 in Bindura, years later after Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti had witnessed the appearence of an angel while in the jungle praying in 1938. The message that Guti recieved then from the angel “Fear Not Sin Not” has been the corner stone of the ZAOGA movement.

The Centenary celebrations as they have been named, will be held at Glamis Arena in Harare this Sunday and will encompass both the anniversary celebrations and celebrating of the founding leader Archbishop Guti for reaching 100 years.

However, since ZAOGA is such a big family, those in their respective Districts and Provinces around the world will also march on Sunday morning in celebration of the church anniversary and the founder’s birthday.

Archbishop Guti has joined the Centurion Club in a year which ends with the number THREE (2023), a very powerful number in the religious world.
